Title : Activated Carbon from Biomass waste

Description : Activated Carbon is a powerful tool for adsorption in the modern era due to its high specific surface area. The raw material used here is coconut shell due to its high carbonaceous content. The preparation method was chemical activation using a Rotary kiln Duration : 4 months

Title : Monolithic Adsorbent for the removal of copper from a aqueous solution Description : Evaluated the use of raw material Diatomaceous earth as an adsorbent both in powder form and monolithic form. Boric acid was used as the binder. Compression moulding was done to form the mould. Various factors such as pH, dosage, amount of adsorbent, contact time was evaluated Duration : 4 months
