Marathon Appliance is a newly established business that needed a jumpstart by building out their desktop and mobile websites, encompassing Twitter, Facebook, Google and solidifying their SEO platform the company saw dramatic growth in only a matter of months. My non-traditional methods gained the business high ranking status (first page) when searching for “appliance repair” throughout the DFW metroplex.

Used my resources and knowledge of cycling to launch a extremely successful Kickstarter campaign for a new brand of bicycle racks. The company set a goal of $25,000 to begin manufacturing and I had them published on many blogs and websites reaching a goal of 497 backers totaling $71,906, Nearly 300% of their goal.

Team Director at Elbowz Racing November 2013 – April 2015

Responsible for managing all aspects of an elite cycling team for regional and national races, including rider selection, race schedule and writing rider contracts.

Keeping close contact with a 12 person roster throughout the country and helping them achieve their goals for the season

Ordering, building and maintaining inventory of all bicycles and components, designing the cycling clothing, securing sponsorships and selling old equipment once the season is over or a riders contract is up.

Grant Manager for the Texas Department of Transportation’s Bicycle Safety Program February 2013 – April 2015

Responsible for applying, obtaining and managing a federal grant of over $130,000 for 2014 and $275,000 for 2015 to put on bicycle safety programs throughout the state of Texas for schools and local community events informing youth riders important aspects of bicycle safety.

Managed and developed a social media hashtag with posts reaching over 500,000 people regularly.
