A more than 30-years-experience Senior Geophysicist with solid background in acquisition, processing, structural and stratigraphic interpretation, modeling, mapping of 2-D and 3-D seismic data, and database. Currently working as a senior geophysicist with Rimbunan Hijau Group in Malaysia. Knowledgeable in most of the major disciplines in the oil and gas industry. Worked independently with a multinational staff from different countries in Malaysia, Sudan, Qatar, UAE and Papua New Guinea as an exploration and development geophysicist working on various geologically complex basin. Have proven track record for completing work on time. Very confident to be able to carry out all geophysical jobs anywhere in the world in any geological settings. Oversaw 2D land seismic acquisition (Western GECO’s Q-Land MAS) and supervised the processing of the data.

Interpreted 2D onshore seismic and created velocity model for depth conversion using pc-based Kingdom Suites. Generated depth map of Top Thamama, carried out prospect ranking and risk analyses.

Estimated hydrocarbon volumes, and designed two wildcat by collaborating with geologists, petrophysicists, and engineers, resulting in currently drilling one of them.
