RESPONSIBILITIES
• To ensure proper perform continuous monitoring at the plants site to ensure compliance of plant operation.
• To keep/maintain the safety manual/documentation as per the safety standards OSHAS- 18001, ISO 45001 with local government rule and regulations.
• Maintain the documents as per Civil defense, Royal Commission regulations & Firefighting maintenance contractors, to keep the firefighting system in healthy condition and deal with internal or External Auditors (AIB, Pepsi Co. etc.) quality control for approval of legal documents, and fulfill the client requirements.
• Dealing with Company’s Risk Insurance consultants to control or eliminate the risks or to control hazards/incidents/accidents.
• Maintenance and contractors with the established safety Health, fire and environmental requirements.
• Conduct monthly safety committee meeting with the management to discuss /eliminate the risks/ hazards.
• Ensure proper maintenance, handling of various safety equipment such as gas monitoring device, breathing apparatus, oxygen detector, cable tracer, ground fault circuit interrupter
• Issue safety awards and recognition letter to chosen company employees.
• Utilize as safety officer and performs primarily of managing overall site safety implementation clients approved safety requirements of the project.
• Responsible in the inspection of lifting
• Checking and inspecting the scaffolding
• Daily monitoring supervisor’s logbook.
• Checking the safe work plan before starting the work.
• Daily inspection heavy equipment checklist.
• Checking all permits for related jobs.

• Daily Discussion with consultants, client’s safety department, on the permit to work system. Health & safety regulations and requirements.
• Regular maintenance of a wide range of safety and fire fitting equipment.
• Co-ordination with the subcontractor’s Safety department from time to time regarding Safety matters
• Preparation of company accident statistics for management reports

• Development of job safety analysis and hazards identification
• To educate the supervisors & workers to follow safe working practice
• Initiate disciplinary action against employees who violate the regulation.

• Conducting weekly tool-box talk for all supervisors & Foreman.
• Conducting monthly internal safety trainings for employee (manual handling, emergency response and reporting, hygiene, physical hazards and control etc.)
