Industrial Projects

1. Supersonic Store Separation Trajectory Analysis

Time accurate system engineering simulation of supersonic store separation has been performed.

Extracted Forces and Moments from CFD Analysis are given as an input to system engineering tool to predict accurately the Trajectory of store separation and evaluated against experimental results.

Tools: Star CCM+, Amesim & HEEDS

2. Dynamic behaviour of control valves

Goal of this project is to couple Amesim and Star ccm+ softwares to obtain more accurate data of force acting on the check valve plate.

Plate experiences certain force due to the flow is sent from star ccm+ to Amesim, it calculates the displacement, inlet and outlet pressure of the plate sends the displacement output signal back to star ccm+.

Tools: Star CCM+ & Amesim

3. Designing and Modeling Leading Edge flap to Estimate increase in Lift Coefficient

The main objective is to increase Lift Coefficient on the wing surface. Modeled 2D Flap section and applied Overset mesh.

Rotational and Transnational movements are extracted from Flap Mechanism design available in System Engineering tool given as an input to 2D Flap model and estimated increase in Lift coefficient on the Flaps.

Tools: Star CCM+

Academic Project

4. Automatic Direction Finder (Jan 2018 – March 2018)

The purpose of this project is to develop Automatic Direction Finder with HAARP, Interference Elimination System and Storm scope to prevent aircraft crashes during thunderstorms and to bring back ADF to Modern Avionic System.
