EXPERIENCE
Disability assistance tool, UBC 2014 – 2015

– The idea was to design a tool that would help those who cannot use their
hands as one normally could.
– It was designed to have the key attached to it on one end and a cylindrical
supports on the other end through which the persons arm goes through
– It was designed using Solidworks and printed using 3D printers
Mechanical Claw, UBC 2015 – 2016
Vancouver, BC
– This was a basic working mechanical claw contructed from scratch. Able to
pick up objects from surface or even through slits. e.g. when you drop your keys
through the space on the manhole cover
– The possesed materials underwent various processes to obtain the final
product, The Mechanical Claw
– The Claw was attached to an Arduino kit and programmed using C
