•AS A TEAM WE WOULD BE ABLE TO SOURCE TWICE THE VOLUME PROCURED THAN LAST SEASON (5000 MT AGAINST 2000 MT LAST YEAR).

Deputy Manager Quality control at Ecom Gill Coffee Trading Pvt Ltd (Feb 2011 to May 2017)

Key responsibilities: Managing and Coordinate Logistics of Coffee - Reception, warehousing as well as dispatch of coffee; Evaluation of Coffee quality to ensure it matches with Ecom Quality Standards; Maintaining accounts; Update all the transactions in ERP on a daily basis; Prepare and send periodical reports to head office; In-charge of handling coffee quality at the coffee mill in Kushalnagar; Handling quality issues for specialty coffees for Nestle Nespresso and exportable coffees.

Buying Quality evaluation of the coffee procured and advising the management on quality standards of coffee to take proper decision on the purchase of coffee

Specialty Production: Analysis & continuous monitoring of coffee samples (online) at its different stage of processing such as Grader, Gravity separator, Color sorter & hand picking suggest deviations, if any for immediate rectifications for Specialty coffees for the buyers like Nestle Nespresso, Star Bucks & Espresso in plantation grades. Organoleptic evaluation (Cup tasting): All export coffee samples are roasted and brewed for tasting on a routine basis. Cup tasting of arrival samples and selecting coffees for specialty production. Keeping track of all specialty and normal shipments including physical and cupping reports. Keeping track of all Nestle India shipments starting from pre shipment samples till the approval stage.
