Equipment System Technician

Performs scheduled work orders of all maintenance tasks relating to Optical & Semiconductor equipment.

PVD Deposition Equipment installation, upgrades & retrofits, electrical/electronic control repair, including electrical/mechanical/system troubleshooting. Calibration and servicing of low, high and ultrahigh vacuum equipment.

Maintained and improved existing inventory of spare parts.

Advanced electro-mechanical devices, PLC upgrade maintenance, PLC input and output troubleshooting including schematic interpretation, circuit diagnoses, and repair to the component level.

Hydraulic and pneumatic systems consisting of, valves regulators, pumps, fittings, using appropriate gauges.

Electrical knowledge of AC & DC circuits, single and three phase AC circuits, motor controls and relay logic.

Vacuum principles and measurement, of low, medium and high vacuum systems.

Supported high vacuum furnace equipment including process SCR controllers, temperature controllers, thermo-couples, and low voltage-high current heating systems. Temperature profiling of vacuum box coating chamber.
