• COHE 6130- Research Methods in Health Science: Project HomeTeam: Community Perception of the Role of African American Churches to Promote Health in Rural African American Communities, Spring 2019

● Responsibilities: Conducted individual and confidential interviews in a small rural community. I reserved a well-known location that was easily accessible to the community. My research was approved by the university’s IRB. Data was analyzed using SAS. A qualitative written report was presented to peers. This data will be used as a pilot study for further research.

• COHE 7238 Communication for Change, Spring 2020

● Research: Created sustainability campaign to reduce one-time use of plastic on university campus. A social marketing plan was created to bring environmental awareness and action to the university campus. Information was gathered from informal interviews with university representatives. Visual aids and slogans were created from gathered data
