Overseeing the safety of crew of between 80 and 420 personnel. Roles include:
Performing Safety Inductions for crew arriving on board the vessel.
Attend safety meetings and ready to discuss key HSE issues as appropriate.
Give deck and vessel familiarization tour and sign off when completed by personnel.
Assist with toolbox talks/pre-shift meetings with each department on site.
Prepare, review and update Risk Assessments and input into database.
Provides advice and guidance to crew and staff alike on a range of safety issues such as Fire Regulations, hazardous substances and noise.
