Description:

This project has been implemented for a modern Customer Master Data (CMD) platform which replaced the current Single Customer View (SCV) platform. Customer Master Data secured common definitions and effective governance for key data objects that are used across all functions and business processes. The new platform resulted in several improvements to the Customer Master Data, including free text being replaced by structured data, automatic self- service on-boarding of customers and new workflow and reporting tools. The new platform also supported delivering Simplification and is ultimately a key element in knowing who our customers are and what business they develop.

Responsibilities:

• Used Informatica Power Center 10.2/9.6.1 for extraction, transformation and load (ETL) of data in the data warehouse.

• Extensively used Transformations like Router, Source Qualifier, Union, Aggregator, Joiner, Expression, Lookup, Java Transformation and Sequence generator.

• Parameterized the mappings and increased the re-usability.

• Worked on bug fixes and enhancements.

• Resolved some recurring issues in the Informatica part of the project.

• Involved in providing support to the end users.
