In this position I worked as part of a team to manage changes and other business processes in support of the Configuration Management and Change Management of parts and documents in the Oracle Agile PLM System:

In the position as QEMS Lead Coordinator, it was my responsibility to:
·Oversaw the Quality & Environmental Management Systems for ISO9001, IATF16949, ISO14001, Ford CSRs, and GM CSRs.
·Reviewed, studied, and implemented changes for the ISO9001, IATF16949, and ISO14001 standards, AAM Corporate requirements, and Customer Specifics for Ford and GM
·QEMS Document Control Process Owner
·Internal Audit Process Owner. Conducted internal audits as well as oversaw the internal auditing teams; conduct 2nd Party audits at Suppliers when needed; oversaw Corporate Quality and Environmental audits; and oversaw the 3rd party audits for IATF16949 and ISO14001
·Compiled reports from the audits and reported findings to management
·Conducted meetings with Management and employees for QEMS related items including the semi-annual Management Review
·Monitored internal/external quality and environmental issues through various web-based systems
·Conducted and/or assisted in training classes for New Hire Orientation, Standards, General Spill, Emergency Preparedness Teams for Environmental Spills, etc. I also developed and/or help develop the training presentations for these classes

With AAM I started out in 1994 working on the production floor running sintering/forge presses, rotary deflash machines, double disk grinders, shot peens, and conducting Whitelight inspections. Moved up from working on the production floor to the Quality Lab where I conducted dimensional and metallurgical inspections via CMM machines, weight scales, and microscopes.
From the Quality Assurance lab, I moved into Research and Development collaborating closely with the company’s chief metallurgist. We conducted research projects on Bi-material and aluminum connecting rods.
From Research and Development, I moved into the QEMS Coordinators position and from there I was promoted to Corporate Group Change Analysts and relocated to Detroit, MI.

During the time-period from graduating high school to starting work at AAM, I worked at Jay C Food Store in North Vernon, IN as a cashier and shelf stocker/order product. From there I worked for a while at David R Webb Veneer Factory in Edinburgh, IN in the drying department and Lowes Distribution center in North Vernon, IN as setup support
