A self-directed willing to re-locate with excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills Dedicated and resourceful professional with over 8 years experience in oil and gas field, I started my career as floorman then derrickman then promoted to Rig Engineer position working in drilling and workover on-shore rigs, I’m a Certified well control supervisor holding IWCF level 4 (valid), also certified HSE specialist from IOSH international certification body in HSE, Rig Inspection, and I have many other HSE and technical certificates in drilling and workover operations.

Experiences

Rig Engineer May 2014 up to present Work for petroneeds petroleum service international co. (PSI) as Floorman to derrickman to Assistant Driller then promoted to work as Drilling and Workover Rig Engineer (Assistant Rig Manager or Equipment Engineer) that most countries don’t have such position named under Rig Engineer but it has the

same responsibilities as the Assistant Rig Manager.

Drilling Engineer Main activities and Responsibilities:

Carries out the drilling operations activities of the Rig Manager during 12 hour night shift on assigned rig. Includes maintaining the ton miles register ensuring maintenance of mud pump log books and conferring with the Rig Manager as required. Ensures strict adherence to Company’s HSE rules and regulations by all personnel (company and contractor) working on the rig during assigned shift.

Assist the Rig Manager to manage the operations assigned to them and ensure that they meet contractual, financial, quality and performance criteria.

Assist the Rig Manager in ensuring that all well programs are executed properly, efficiently, safely and in accordance with Group / Client standards, processes and procedures as well as relevant Country regulations / guidelines.

Liaise at all times with their Rig Manager/Operations Manager on all key issues in a timely and appropriate manner.

Assist the Rig Manager in conducting technical appraisals of drilling and work-over programs, ensuring that any improvements, concerns or remedial actions required, are brought to the attention of the client.

In accordance with group process / procedure, ensure accurate recording / reporting and follow up of all events including HSE and NPT accidents/incidents.

Assist with pre-spud / end-of-well / review / investigation meetings, ensuring that complete reporting is undertaken and that all learning points are brought to the attention of management, client and recorded within the company learning systems.

Assist the Rig Manager in reviewing the performance evaluation of the personnel on the operating unit and supporting office and field supervisors with human resource rationalization / utilization and development.

Drive performance improvement by assisting with investigations and remedial actions on equipment, structural or system failures affecting the operating unit under his authority.

Assist to ensure the timely requisition of all materials, equipment and services to the correct specification for the execution of well operations, project work-scopes and upgrades where applicable.

Assist the Rig Manager to ensure all required industry / company standards / certification / inspection and auditing is up to date. Planning repair and remedial works as required.

To stand-in as acting Rig Manager as and when required.

Assist the Rig Manager in monitoring and improving the financial and operational

performance of the operating unit.

To produce daily, monthly, routine and ad-hoc reports (as required) and distribute within

the company. E.g. daily Operation Report (DOR), Monthly Performance Reports for the operating unit / country. Ensuring that all contractual performance related KPI are monitored and progress against these are reported.

Maintain accurate records of tubular and tool dimensions (i.e. internal and external diameter, fish neck, and serial numbers).

Know the specifics of the rig IADC equipment list. Responsible for assuring the rig field reports daily work tickets are completed and signed when required by the customer.

Conduct pressure/Function test to Rig Equipment.

Prepare rig crew Time Sheet.

Floorman – Derrickman – Assistant Driller December 2012 – may 2014 Start my career at petroneeds Services International (PSI) as labor working as floorman to derrickman then Assistant Driller responsible for operating and servicing oil and gas wells. Assists in rigging up or down, laying out tubing and transporting drilling and service

rigs.

Trainee Engineer April 2011 - February -2012 Worked on Sudan petroleum data center as national service in documenting and archiving wells data, such as seismic data, and core and cutting data. In addition to work in exploration and production authority in production, drilling and reservoir sections including

training in oil fields in all those sections.
