Charge Medical Assistant, formerly Medical Assistant
• Interview patients upon entry into facility, recording patients’ vital signs, medical history, and history of present illness
• Perform in-house lab procedures such as urinalysis, rapid strep tests, and rapid influenza tests
• Assist in basic medical procedures including incision and drainage, suture placement and removal, IV fluid preparation and initiation, dressing and wrapping wounds, and medication administration
