POST HELD: BRANCH OPERATIONOFFICER[OCTOBER 2018 TODATE] Branch operation officer is responsible for all branch back office work and process in order to support the whole branch so as to ensure all cash and non-cash transactions are handled properly.
Duties and responsibilities are:
o Receiving and posting all cheques from customers (internal and external) o Processing and issuing of bankers cheques to the customers o Accepting and processing of special clearance cheques from other banks, and making sure the fee are collected upfront
o Responsible on taking all other local banks cheques after being posted to clearing department for settlement in agreed time
o Responsible to make sure that all other local cheques are being posted according to the clearing days advised by clearing house
o Receiving telegraphic applications from CSO after signature verification and customer balance being indicated o
o Responsible for call over on branch transactions on daily basis and submit for filling o Working closely with other departments such as head teller and customer team leader so as to ensure all the duties are performed well. o o Responsible for posting all internal transactions o Able to meet all the functions timely.

POST HELD: ACTING HEAD OF TELLER [JAN –APRIL 2018] During this time I was a co-custodian assisting Branch Operations Manager. Duties and responsibilities were:
o Ensure the liquidity position of the branch is maintained at all times and customers are served efficiently.
o Ensuring adequate control and compliance measures are in place to minimize risk of loss of cash in the branch.
o Issue cash from strong room to BEOs at the start of business and to receive cash form beo’s at the end of business.
o Checking BEOs’ cash in hand against BEOs balancing summary. o o Replenish BEOs’ cash position based on requisition notes. o o Posting of cash entries in the treasury register. o Estimate cash requirements and excess cash to determine requests for cash from center/Bank of Tanzania.

POST HELD: BANK TELLER/CLERK [DEC 2015 - DEC 2017] BEO is first contact person of the Bank. One of the primary responsibilities is to provide exceptional customer service including efficient and accurate transaction processing. Duties and responsibilities were:
