Human Resource Development (HRD):
Coordinating trainings for Internal/External, including the sourcing of quotations and payment of the invoices after the training.
Engaging with service providers, identify programmes and registering the delegates.
Submit the invoices to finance for payment after the training, make follow up on the payment and send the proof of payment to provider.
Coordinate the Skills Development Committee meetings, take minutes and arrange training for new committee members.
Send the meeting invite to the registered delegates and communicate with the nominated /recommended service provider that’s going to deliver the training
Ensure that training materials is available at all time /printing of learning material in consultation with the supplier and relevant unit for trainings.
Manage the short course approval form system for Internal/external trainings.
Identify areas for further career development by analysing the Personal Development Programme (PDP/IDP) and coordination trainings as per employees requests
Compulsory Induction Programmes:
Coordinate the Compulsory Induction Programme (CIP) for new appointed employees
Arrange training logistics include venues, facilitators and training materials, engage with National School of Government regarding Inductions and other stakeholders
Capture the CIP information on PERSAL and ensure that the new joiners probation is confirmed
Manage the training database for Inductions and compile a report.
Human Resources Management (HRM)
Recruitment and Selection:
Draft Job advertisement and send it to DPSA and media for advertisement.
Do the shortlisting, arrange for interviews, invite the candidate and draft the memo after the interviews for approval.
Manage the whole process of appointing the recommended candidate by verifying their qualifications (SAQA), Reference check and Criminal record check.
Appoint the successful candidate on PERSAL (new appointees and Transferred).
Drafting relocation Memo for CEO’s approval for transferred employees
Administration:

Draft the bursary submission, draft and issue the bursary contracts and acceptance letters
Human Resources Management (HRM):
