Project Title : FABRICATION OF DIE ON BLANKING

Description:

Blanking and piercing are manufacturing processes by which certain geometrical shapes are sheared off a sheet metal. In this project, the theory and practice of these processes are reviewed and discussed the main parameters affecting these processes are presented and discussed. These include the radial clearance percentage, punch and die geometrical parameters. The effect of punch and die war on the quality of blanks is also given and discussed. Roles and Responsibilites:

• Collecting raw material.

• Invloved in heat treatement process, hardening of metal processing, ethching process and surface finishing.

• Documentation of project work.

• Preparation of seminar ppt and presentation.
