Duties and Responsibilities at PACOFS
Artistic development and planning for the annual program
Outreach programs in arts and culture and events organising and coordination
plan community events and marketing of such events to ensure attendance and participation
compile quarterly reports, Annual Performance Plans and meet all the KPI
Do the entire development department budget and managing of funds the department to ensure that expenditure falls within the prescribed laws.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Good communication skills gained through my experience as an audience and development coordinator at PACOFS by means of monitoring audiences and providing information in a friendly and professional manner to both artists and communities of different backgrounds, dealing with colleagues and audiences complaints in a professional manner as well as sending, receiving and answering all emails and phone calls professionally.
Good communication skills gained through my experience working at the UFS law clinic as part of my practical’s during my studies.
Communication skills also gained when I acted as PA to the Artistic Director at PACOFS were I had to deal with difficult clients and also had to communicate on behalf of the AD in his absence.
Mass communication as host of formal and informal events in the intuition such as master of ceremonies at events, host of the artists’ indaba, doing announcements and introductions at functions hosted by our institution.
ORGANISATIONAL & MANAGERIAL SKILLS
Basic accounting and booking keeping by handling all general administration from contracts, MOU, artist payments and budgets for the PACOFS development department for its annual programme.
The ability to treat information confidentially and not voluntarily giving out sensitive information. But at the same time being able to expose the institution to different potential clientele.
Good time management skills gained through my experience as project manager for a flagship programme of keeping deadlines, delegating, coordinating events, making and managing schedules as well as team work.
Good people management skills earned through my liaising with different departments and entities to collaborate into doing events together and signing partnerships.
