Attend some calibration works related for protection system such as generator, motor, transformer, VCB/ ACB relay.

Knowledge on how to use the testing and measuring equipment such as PROGRAMMA, ABB TYPE< MERLIN GERIN BREAKER TEST KIT< AVO BM-11 HV MEGGER AND HYPHOTHRONICS TEST KIT FOR WINDING RESISTANCE, measurement.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Implement preventative maintenance programs of electrical equipment, system and network in accordance with the establishment schedules and instruction from supervisor. Changes brushes; wiring and bulbs, cleans motor and lubricates moving parts; check tests substations calibrations, fuses, earth connections, insulations battery charge, UPS, etc., using testing equipment; and generally checks visually for damage, corrosion, loose connections, etc. Notes and reports any problem requiring repair work to supervisor.

Observes all safety and loss prevention procedures, exercise good housekeeping practices, keeping workshop and job sites clean and tidy. Obtained required work permits and exercises particular care and attention in ensuring that electrical equipment and system are isolated prior to repair.
