I currently have a position for an individual to work at Manager Level for Tata power plant. The correct applicant will be responsible for Power Plant operations including Production (Power Boiler, Recovery Boiler, Water Treatment and Turbines), Maintenance (Mechanical, Electrical, PSD, DCS, Instrument) and Technical Department. The correct applicant will have solid power plant experience with at least 5 or more years in a very senior manager or GM position.

Prepare some modification drawing and material take off for electrical equipment control system prior for electrical system up gradation.

Log off deficiency noticed during inspection prior for submission to Electrical Maintenance Supervisor/ Engineer.

Knowledge on the type of permit and lock out tag, prior for isolation of equipment.

Attend some calibration works related for protection system such as generator, motor, transformer, VCB/ ACB relay.

Conduct "kick method test", "polarity test" and "second injection test" for current

Transformer, instrument transformer and potential/ voltage transformer.

Knowledge on how to use the testing and measuring equipment such as PROGRAMMA, ABB TYPE< MERLIN GERIN BREAKER TEST KIT< AVO BM-11 HV MEGGER AND HYPHOTHRONICS TEST KIT FOR WINDING RESISTANCE, measurement.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Implement preventative maintenance programs of electrical equipment, system and network in accordance with the establishment schedules and instruction from supervisor. Changes brushes; wiring and bulbs, cleans motor and lubricates moving parts; check tests substations calibrations, fuses, earth connections, insulations battery charge, UPS, etc., using testing equipment; and generally checks visually for damage, corrosion, loose connections, etc. Notes and reports any problem requiring repair work to supervisor.

Observes all safety and loss prevention procedures, exercise good housekeeping practices, keeping workshop and job sites clean and tidy. Obtained required work permits and exercises particular care and attention in ensuring that electrical equipment and system are isolated prior to repair.

Performed other similar or related duties such as reporting job completion and any problem encountered to supervisor, obtaining materials, special tools and spare parts from warehouse, suggesting possible minor design changes to eliminate repetitive faults, with contacted technicians in multi-craft work and working on afternoon
