ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Quality Management System:
Taking stringent quality measures including preparation / maintenance of necessary documents to ensure compliance with AS9100 standard and customer requirement.
Conducting root cause analysis, taking necessary corrective action, implementing and measuring its effectiveness.

Root cause analysis (8D, cause & Effect diagrams).
CAPA (Corrective Action & Preventive Action).
Individually succeed NADCAP,customer audits (containment action, 5 why analysis, root cause & corrective action, NC closing & communication with task group).

CERTIFIED WELDING INSPECTOR (AWS - CWI):
Have the ability to properly interpret Codes and Specifications in accordance with the drawing requirements. Review of MTC & QAP.
Perform visual inspections to determine if a weldment meets the acceptance criteria of a specific code, standard or document & develop visual inspection procedures (before, during, and after welding). Analyze repairs & recommending solutions, dis positioning NC items, input to MRB. Assist in Failure mode & effects analysis and produce control plans.
Before welding: Check Edge/ Weld Preparation as per WPS, check for filler metal & welding machine. During welding: Process type, check welding parameters & maintain as per WPS. After welding: Visual check, NDT requirements, identify repairs from assessment of visual or NDT reports.
Document all inspections, computations, results, and feedback provided. Submit first article cut-ups with all necessary visual inspection and verify examination procedure & review examination results compliance.
Verify joint geometry and other technical parameter compliance with WPS and drawing. Verify procedure qualification records & welding procedure compliance.
Knowledge in varies NDT testing, quality control tools, 5S.
Witness & Verify the welders, welding operators and tack welders qualification tests and conformance to the applicable standards and that they re-qualified to use the welding procedures specified for the work.
DOCUMENTATION & SAFETY:
Preparing WPS (Schedules), PQR, WPQR, PIR, operating procedures, work instructions, Inspection procedures based upon customer requirements & maintaining WQT reports, control copies, welding related routers & Equipment qualification related documents, drawings & technical specification documents.
Reviewing DMR derive the root cause analysis & write the corrective action then close it.
Engage continuous improvement for processes included in and adjacent to job role. Recognize and resolve customer satisfaction issues (both internal &external).
Computer literate in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Power point and Outlook. Comfortable navigating the internet.
Educate staff and welders in safety and operating procedures and requirements. Verify proper documentation compliance & Certify documented results.
Identify circumstances that necessitate the use of proper safety procedures and equipment.
