Advising clients/contractors as AECOM was the PMCM for SIP Sports Complex in Suzhou outside Shanghai this is a $ billion project, ranging from Indoor Arena 22,000 capacity, Outdoor Stadium 45,000 capacity, Natatorium 6,000 capacity, Hotel/Commercial Complex and other buildings Dealing with all types of construction from Steel Construction, Concrete, and Infrastructure.

State of the Art Olympic Pool Arena and Indoor Convention Center using 3,650 solar modules for the roofs giving an annual generation of 1,500 MWh, 30% of Stadium power offset. Module type 60 cell series.

Also ensuring that my personnel were trained to the level required to ensure our clients receive the excellence that is required.

I have brought International Standards to this project in China at the clients request and as the only foreigner on this project; I have introduced international standards to our AECOM Team especially in Construction & Health & Safety whereas at the end of January 2017 we achieved 21 million person-hours with zero incidents, which was a safety record in China/APAC.

Working with the designers guiding them on stadiums structural steel and roofing as this is a state of the art sports complex.

Ensuring tender stages and contracts were submitted in the correct manner.

Working with general contractors ensuring they meet there project times from the Master Programme Schedule.

Working with the local authorities to ensure construction stages inspections were met, as this was a complex project and stage payments to the contractor was very important to keep the project running on time. In addition, my team dealt with claims with my legal team...

I have achieved great respect from the client in Suzhou and they have given me full permission to make decisions on the project and given me there 100% backing.

Dubai Sports City is a 50 million square foot US $4 billion project, which features world class sporting venues Stadia and Sporting Academies, Golf Course including High Rise residential and commercial properties and all related amenities such as Hotels, Entertainment Centers, Schools, Medical Facilities and Retail Mall and the entire Infrastructure.

Directly reporting to CEO, I was responsible for directing multi-projects between the value of US $ 6m to

US$ 1.1billion.

Managed entire construction and project management team of 136 persons.

Managed the procurement team and Finance Team and the P&L and the CFO reported directly to me.

Managed the Contracts and QS Team.

Managed the Human Resources Team.

Managed all departments of the Construction Teams.

Responsible for overseeing the project as an Operations Director, Reporting to Barwa Chairman and Royal Sheikhs., dealing with designers, client, all contractors, subcontractors and progression of build

Planned and organised a 2000 apartment project fast track in LGS for completion within one year which included all the infrastructure as this project was out in the desert to deliver a township was a huge task, 6.8 kilometres of roads, sewage piping and power lines to the site.

Project Director (Contractor)

George Wimpey was one of the biggest contractors in the UK constructing thousands of residential homes throughout the UK.

My role was to control the southern part of the UK running 13 projects visiting my sites and checking all Projects Managers to ensure they are meeting their schedules with inspections and ensuring costs are within our budget figures.

This had to be achieved on a weekly basis as all schedules and costs had to be presented to HQ on a weekly basis to Directors.

I started my career in the Construction business from ground level from groundworks, Masonry, MEP, Plastering, Brickwork, Roofing and Mechanical Engineering.
