PERSONAL STATEMENT
A result oriented person with a high level of integrity and honesty. I am a hardworking individual with over five years’ experience. I have a language proficiency in French and Kiswahili as well as proven leadership skills with demonstrated success in financial management using both Tally and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning). I have the ability to work in a team as well as individually under minimum or no supervision and under own initiative. I am an honest person who pays great attention to detail with excellent interpersonal and communication skills in addition to leadership skills. I am dedicated and keen to learn new skills to improve my experience for the benefit of me and the company that i work for. Procurement Manager, Graphic Systems Uganda
While here, I managed the company’s supply of products and services by discovering the best ways to cut procurement expenses so that the company can invest in growth and people. My duties included devising and use of fruitful sourcing strategies, discovering profitable suppliers and initiating business and organization partnerships. Also negotiation with external vendors to secure advantageous terms, approve the ordering of necessary goods and services and finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries.
Below listed are a summary of my achievements.
Increased profit growth of GSUL to over 15 per cent for the years 2018/2019 and 2017/2018 by freezing best and minimal rates for all supplies with suppliers for two years.
Participated in designing and Implementation of policies to reduce cost and eliminate waste
Oversaw the annual raw material and finished goods budget and all purchasing needs for company.
Reduced the rejection rate of promotional items as more improved r/materials are used for production by initiating and developing MSDS for all promotional items’ raw materials.
Introduced and designed Shipment reports. Sea, Air and EAC shipment reports which improved efficiency in delivery of raw materials and imported finished goods.
Expanded on the list of suppliers with credit offers to GSUL from 20 days to 90 days credit. This enabled GSUL to operate at most minimal pressure with available stock of all raw materials as and when required.
Managed a procurement team of six staff ensuring diligence, efficiency and professionalism which reduced turnover of staff hence consistency in execution of work duties including no delays supplies.
Aggressively worked to achieve significant cost savings through sourcing new suppliers and negotiating with the existing.
Devised and executed annual purchasing plans and contracts both fixed and periodic contracts
Assessed areas of service concern and developed improvement plans.
Scheduled and organized inventory management meetings with all department heads and stores personnel

1. Logistics and Stores Manager, Security Plus (U) Ltd During my tenure here, I was responsible for the overall supply chain and Inventory/ Stores Management so as to enhance business development and ensure sustainability and customer satisfaction. My duties were to strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services. This included liaising directly with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers. My achievements included
Eliminated stock outs and emergency purchases as the head of stores by introducing a stock level tracking system.
Reduced routine costs by over 30% through fleet management and supervision by introducing a tracking system for fuel consumption and routine repairs. The new system was adopted till date.
Supervised debt collection by managing all the troublesome (non-paying) clients which translated into the reduction of the bad debtors by recovering un paid debts pended for over three years.
Froze supplier contracts and credit limit days which helped reduce emergency purchases that end up being costly in the long run.
Ensured prompt deliveries of quality raw materials and goods this also saved company expenses on rejections and repeated purchases.
2. Supervisor, Credit Collection Department
Due to my extreme hard work while at Security Plus, I was appointed to head the Debt collection department due to the overwhelmingly growing bad debtor’s schedule. Supervised debt collection by managing all the troublesome (non-paying) clients which translated into the reduction of the bad debtors by recovering 80% of all unpaid debts pended for over three years.

Audit Executive, PKF Uganda
While here, I was in charge of ensuring compliance with established internal control procedures through examining records, reports, operating practices and documentation. My duties were performing the full audit cycle, determining internal audit scope and developing annual plans. To include also was obtaining, analyzing and evaluating accounting documentations, reports, data, flowcharts and others.
Sealed external audit reports including TPS Serena Hotels, Kabira Country Clubs, Agha Khan and FBW architects. This helped execute obligations with efficiency and thus would serve more clients thus earning more revenue for the company.
Increased the company’s revenue by carrying out internal audits which was as a result of the efficiency in execution of duties.
