MASTER OF SCIENCE UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS AT ARLINGTON MAY 2020 Major: Biomedical Engineering (GPA: 3.3/4)

BACHELOR OF ENGINEERING MUMBAI UNIVERSITY MAY 2017 Major: Biomedical Engineering (GPA: 3.3/4)

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Languages: MATLAB, Python, R, C, SQL.

Applications: SolidWorks, Google Colab.

Tools: Keras, Tensorflow, Numpy, scikit learn, EEGLab, Signal Processing Toolbox. EXPERIENCE

RESEARCH ASSISTANT BIOPHOTONIC AND NEUROIMAGING LAB JAN 2019- AUG 2019 ARLINGTON, TX

• Hands on experience in EEG data collection, pre-processing, analyzing and documenting results of the decision-making power of brain, effect of LED on brain.

• Worked on analyzing Infraslow EEG Activity using continuous wavelet transform (CWT).

• Designed a 3D structure to meet the right diameter of LED source STUDENT INTERN UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS, ARLINGTON SEPT 2019 – DEC 2019 ARLINGTON, TX

• Designed and developed Convolutional Neural Net (CNN) that could classify coin Vs scrap, from the images provided. Trained the system using mini batch gradient decent training method, drop out method, and achieved maximum accuracy of 96.12% with augmentation, with an epoch size of 20 and uniformly distributed weights.

• Performed VGG 16 pretrained network from Keras, Augmentation technique, dropout to prevent overfitting and minibatch gradient decent for training the system. Achieved maximum accuracy of 93.52%. INTERN MAQUET GETINGE GROUP DEC 2015 – JAN 2016 MUMBAI, INDIA

• Learned about construction and functioning of medical devices like Ventilators, Anesthesia Machine, Heart Lung Machine, ECMO and Advanced Monitoring Devices

• Acquired knowledge on Electrical Engineering, Human Anatomy and Physiology, Mechanics and Cardiac Perfusion

• Assembled Power Supply and made it functional

PROJECTS

ECG DATA ANALYSIS AUG 2019 – DEC 2019

• Using 202m file from MIT-BIH Arrhythmia Database available on www.physionet.org, extracted 10mins ECG data, converted raw data to signal, found the number of heart beats by counting R peaks and calculated RR interval.

• Autocorrelation of RR interval was found using Signal Processing Toolbox, allowing 100 sample shifts. Power Density Spectrum was calculated by squaring the magnitudes of Fourier transform of the time interval.

• Hamming Window filter is designed setting the pass edge frequency at 50Hz and transition band at 10Hz, to examine the impact of removing high frequency above 50Hz, filtered data was plotted, heartbeats and RR interval were counted. MRI IMAGE PROCESSING JAN 2019 - MAY 2019

• Extracted MRI slices from DICOM file, utilized array to store and read DICOM images. Examined data of the images and collected the information of slice location and slice thickness of each MRI slice.

• Differentiated tumor and healthy brain tissue, displayed them in different colors. Displayed contour of the image and created a 3D display

INSULIN PUMP BODY FEB 2020

• Developed and designed Insulin Pump Body using SolidWorks features like extrude Boss/Base, Plane, cut extrude, thread, loft and fillet.

• Assembled using parallel, concentric, or mates depending on the requirements.
