The Womb Chair
The Womb chair is Inspired from the womb study that was done by Leonardo Da Vinci. The womb study is one of the intricate study of the human anatomy done by Leonardo Da Vinci. I have designed a chair based on his study of the womb which depicts the protective, close and warm seating, like a cocoon. I have designed this chair which depicts the protective and warm space, like a womb. This chair is designed for one to feel warm and cozy while having a cup of coffee or tea or while reading a book and just to relax on. This chair is made of wood with a feather cushioning with velvet covers on the sides and for the seating. McQueen Pop-Up Store Men’s Saloon
Pop-up stores designed for the high-end fashion brand McQueen, to be temporarily place them in malls in a popular spot of the mall. Two types of pop-up store were designed inspired by the logo of the brand, using the logo as the concept for the shelf shaped like a hexagon and the dress hanging rack were designed to incoporate the brand and to promote the fashion brand.
Men’s Saloon designed as a minimilistic and rustic saloon for men which is located in a mall in Bengaluru, India. The saloon has concrete tile walls, beach wood flooring, wooden panels as the walls for the pri- vate rooms and offices, concrete reception podium and floor to ceiling height mahogany doors. simple wooden furniture with leather uphol- stery for the chairs.
Around The World Restaurant
Around The World restaurant is a one of a kind restaurant where one can caome to experience different kinds of cuisines from all over the world, the one place where one can have both the gourmet food and the street stlye food of a cusine. Like the change of season, this restau- rant changes its cuisine every few months to cater to the wide and versatile population of dubai. Located in a tourist location, the Heritage Village by the creek in Dubai, United Arab Emirates it not only caters to the residents of dubai but also the tourists that visit the country let- ting them experience the cultural hub that is an essential part of the city. This restaurant has two floors, the ground floor being the casual fine dining setting and the first floor being the open roof top casual setting serving strret food according to the cuisine. The restaurant was designed in such a way so as to accomadate any type of seating, like a reg- uluar type seating or the eastern traditional way of seating where they sit on the cushions or slabs placed on the ground with a table for the dishes. The tables and chairs are designed specifically for this resetaurant where for and east asian setting, the chair’s legs can be removed in order to make it floor seating. And the table can be lowered along with the rectangular floor just below the table for a more comfortable seating for people so that they wouldnt have to sit criss-crossed like the east asian people usually sit. Sabyasachi’s Loft
A loft located near the Lago Di Bilancino a man-made lake near the Barberino Di mugello town in Florence, Tuscany, Italy. The Lake house/loft was designed as a vacation home for one of the most successfull and well renowned Indian fashion Designer Mr. Sabyasachi Mukherjee, a place he could come to relax and unwind from his busy schedule and simply to concentrate on his designs. The loft is designed specifically for mr Sabyasachi which is inspired by his stores from all over India and his home in Kolkata, India. The is designed in a simple, spacious and free flowing manner with two floors. the ground flooring containg the living room, open kitchen, dining area with a beautiful view of Lago Di Bilancino, a formal living room with an open skylight to get as much natural light in as possible and two guest bedrooms. And the first floor is completely dedicated to being Mr, Sabyasachi’s private space which contains his bedroom, ensuite bathroom and his work studio.
Tiffany and Co. Store
The retail store of Tiffany and Co. is located in the city of Florence, Tuscany, Italy is designed inspired from its branches from all over the world. This retail store is inspired by the Tiffany and Co.’s brand and its image that was built over the years, the brand being an iconic and classic fashion jewellery brand known as the brilliance in a blue box, Tiffany and Co. a classy brand needs a classy store, inspired the brand, its identity and image, the stored was designed with white car- rara marble flooring, wallapers lining the walls with wooden panels as the border on the walls and the entrances. The gondolas in the store are custome made with wooden platforms that has a glass container with a still frame to showcase all their jewelley. The store has different section catering to different needs of the customers, the gold and accessories section, the engagement section, the customiza- tion area and the VIP lounge. The store’s window displays are themed as “I’m with Her” for international women’s day, showcasing that Tiffany and Co. is with every women, supporting them and encouraging them of their dreams. Carshing Waves Restaurant
Crashing waves an African and French Fusion cuisine restaurant located in the west-African cosatal city of Abi- djan, Côte d’Ivoire.
A two storey African-French restaurant situated in a hotel in the city, is designed inspired by their culture, traditions and their art, usinf their bold patterns and colors the walls have been decorated with thier art. The furniture also showcasing the african elements and the finesse pf the french in Abidjan. The restaurant has a causal fine dining setting where people can enjoy a causal dining experi- ence with a showcase of live performances of the region’s local art, culture, music and dance. The restaurant just like its menu having different varities of food, contains different varities ofseatings, booth seating, casual group seating, couple seating, outdoor seating and bar. This restaruant is designed to create a bold, vibrant anf un atmosphere for the people and the tourist of Abidjan to dine, en- joy, relax and have fun in.
