Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Oversee the Perfume manufacturing process and make sure that the Production lines are running smoothly and efficiently.

Work closely with Line leaders and maintenance staff to plan work, set targets and make sure the finished products meet quality standards.

Determine the amount of necessary resources (workforce, raw materials, machineries, etc.) and plan accordingly.

Lead and motivate team to create a high-performance culture.

Asses target and resource requirements, provide estimate on timescales and costs.

Estimate, negotiate and agree on budgets and timescales with manager and suppliers.

Ensure safe working practices are maintained and ‘Standard Operating Procedures’ is adhered to.

Compare odor and color of current sample with samples of previous batches.

Set up and follow up the trials of first production to optimize the process instruction and eliminate quality risk.

Re-smelling sample in air-filtered room using blotter strips dipped in aromatic chemicals to evaluate fragrance for specific characteristics such as odor, body, harmony, strength and permanence.

Evaluate odors of aromatic chemicals to set production standards and ensure adherence by workers engaged in compounding and finishing operations.

Direct workers engaged in preparation of work orders for compounding department and review batch sheets prepared for distillation department to ensure compliance with formulas devised in perfume laboratory.

To fulfill the daily production requirements, Overlook & coordinate the manpower to ensure almost an equal & balanced occupational area.

Approves batches for finishing from knowledge of odor characteristics and odor blends conforming with customer or laboratory standards.

Communicate target with the team, delivering shift brief with focus on quality, cost, delivery and gathering ideas for improvement.

To achieve in any circumstances the maximum output with the minimum effort on the particular production area.
