PERSONAL PROFILE
I have 4 years of experience working for various interior design companies and I am confident user of Vectoworks, AutoCAD, Photoshop and Sketchup. My experience includes designing kitchens and living areas as well as custom made furniture. I have been involved in both residential and commercial projects. My strengths include, visual and conceptual creativity teamed with strong technical drawing skills. I consider myself to be a highly motivated and confident individual, with a great passion for interior design and a hunger to continually develop. I am hard working, enthusiastic and dedicated with an outgoing personality and the ability to communicate at all levels with both colleagues and clients. June 2019- Current 2020 Leicht Contracts UK LTD – Contract Designer Designing for commercial spaces and working in big volumes with developers all around London. My duties involve designing from architectural drawings and producing high quality kitchen designs from briefing, to ensure that the final designs meet not only the client’s aspirations but also conforms to all relevant legislative requirements. My job requires me to work under extreme pressure at a fast pace leaving very little room for mistakes by maintaining complete focus and precision at all times. My strong attention to detail is demonstrated through my designs by following a very organised structure which allows me to work efficiently and with accuracy. My clientele includes; Sons & Co - Park Street, Regal Homes, Berkeley Homes, Osbourne-Regents House & St George-Chelsea Creek. April 2017 -April 2019 Neil Lerner Kitchen Designs – Junior Designer My duties involved designing kitchen layouts using programs Compusoft and Photoshop to create 3D visuals and technical drawings. I worked closely with clients to discuss all aspects of design, method planning and remodelling. I ensured projects were completed within strict deadlines and within the client’s budget by putting together quotations for furniture, appliances, worktops and other various materials. This role allowed me to engage with my clienteles’ ideas, brand and stories then bringing them to life. I was also given the opportunity to travel to Germany and Italy for training workshops to develop my knowledge of our kitchen brands Hacker and Poliform.
March- May 2016 Amberth - Bespoke Interior design – Junior Interior Designer Created bespoke, custom made furniture and fittings using AutoCAD and Sketchup. Picked out finishes for furniture for both kitchens and bathrooms. Gave presentations to colleagues on product specifications and on trend materials.
Sept- March 2016 Living in Space- Junior Interior Designer Specialists in interior architecture and soft furnishings. Clients included individual residential projects and commercial organisations, working closely with budget materials and timeframe. Responsibilities included drawing up plans, sections, elevations of residential housing using Vectorworks and ordering fabric samples for clients.
Feb -Sept 2015 London ADC - Interior Designer
Reconstructed/designed a hospital in a developing country as part of humanitarian aid. Responsibilities included planning and drafting detailed specifications to create a pleasing and functional interior environment using AutoCAD and Photoshop. Selected to teach AutoCAD to beginners who required extra assistance. Managed and prioritised workload whilst maintaining good working relationships with the team.
2014-2017 Arcadia - Supervisor at Pearson’s department store Provided an excellent standard of customer care. Identified customers’ needs and worked with the visual team to manage displays within the store. Assembled fixtures and arranged store furniture to enhance the customers shopping experience.
