• Title : Manufacturing of Ammonia and Urea

• Industry : Nagarjuna Fertilizers and Chemicals Limited, Kakinada o Abstract : Urea is considered an effective feed, since it contains nitrogen, which can aid plant growth. We selected the Snamprogetti ammonia stripping process for the manufacture of urea. This process is selected because it involves a high NH3 to CO2 ratio in the reactor, ensuring the high conversion of carbamate to urea. Snamprogetti technology differs from competitors in bbeing based on the use of excess ammonia to avoid corrosion as well as promote the decomposition of unconverted carbamate into urea.

• Title : Simulation of CO2 Capture from flue gases using ASPEN PLUS o CO2 capture and storage has been proposed as an alternative to mitigate global warming. Chemical-looping combustion (CLC) is an unmixed combustion concept where fuel and combustion air are kept separate by means of an oxygen carrier, and the CO2 capture is inherently achieved. Process-level models of CLC are established in ASPEN Plus for detailed simulations in this work. The entire CLC process, from the beginning of coal gasification to reduction and oxidation of the oxygen carrier is modeled. Sensitivity analysis is performed to the gasifier to know the better reaction conditions. PERSONALITY TRAITS
