Project Work: Automatic Inflation System in running wheels An automobile’s tyres are the vehicles sole contact with the road. Tyre damage could prove to be very dangerous and result in personal or property injury and also result in money loss. Each tyre manufactures specifies an optimum tyre pressure for their tyre which will provide the tyre its maximum life. The correct tyre pressure can help to extend the life of tyre, improve vehicle safety and maintain fuel efficiency. The main aim of the project was to develop an automatic tyre inflation system in running wheels. It reduces the responsibility to check the tyre pressure manually and further it would be done automatically. It is best suited for off roading vehicles. It also reduces the accidents caused due to under inflation of tyre.
