Assisted in on-boarding and training of supervisors new to our data van. 16 supervisors in 24 months. Result was ablilty to meet customer expectations despite the turnover.

Evaluated bids and purchased a new compressed air system and new plant lighting, working with vendors for a successful installatio. Specified and purchased new automatic saw for extrusions, doubling throughput without adding staffing.

Successfully absorbed 40% additional volume manufacturing with 15% additional staff from a 2013 acquisition. another sign company. Updated methods, staffing, and workflows.

Illinois Tool Works (ITW) (2002 – 2006)

Operations Manager

Re-engineered operations by winning approval for and executing plant consolidation, new construction, and move within New Jersey for an operating profit increase of 8%. Evaluated vendor proposals and purchased new slitter and new coating line.

Provided ongoing operations management and guidance for a 50-member manufacturing team responsible for producing embossed security holograms worth $14MM in annual sales.

Addressed machine staffing levels, smed for chemical vapor deposition, inventory policy leading to a 50% reduction in storage requirements Responsible for manufacturing, shipping, quality, and engineering/maintenance. Reported to GM.
