Summary

I am writing to apply for the position of a Multi-Disciplined Inspector as I am certain that my qualifications and inspection experience are a perfect combination for this position. I possess certifications in AWS Certified Welding Inspector and NACE CIP level II & Basic Corrosion. I also possess Asset Integrity related certifications such as API 510 Pressure Vessel Inspector, API 570 Piping Inspector and API 580 Risk Based Inspector. To complement this, I also possess training and certification in failure analysis from Shell M285-Diagnosis of Engineering Failures, Non- Destructive Testing certifications in accordance with ASNT-SNT- TC-1A Level II: MT/PT/UT and I have graduated with a Mechanical Engineering Technician’s Diploma in 2016. I am also currently perusing API 653 and schedule to take the examinations in the near future.

I have been employed within the Oil Refining and Construction Industry as a Plant Inspector, Quality Control Inspector and NDT Inspector for the past twelve (12) years. I was employed at Trinidad Inspection Services for 6 years as a NDT / Pressure Vessel / Piping Inspector and The Petroleum company of Trinidad and Tobago (PETROTRIN) for 6 years as a NDT & Plant Inspector. Thereafter I worked with Massy Wood at Atlantic LNG on the Liquid Thermal Oxidation Project as a QA/QC inspector. I have also worked on various projects as a Welding, Vessel and Piping inspector for companies such as Methanex, LNG, Air Liquide, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, CGCL and IPSL Downstream - Melamine, UAN, UREA and Utilities plants on contractual basis.
