Position Purpose

The Position is overall responsible to plan, execute and perform mechanical maintenance activities with minimum breakdown and perform uninterrupted economic utilities operations safely while meeting all statutory and organizational requirements within budgeted costs and time.

Air Compressor’s (Screw, Reciprocating & Centrifugal Compressor).

Air Dryer, Air Receiver, and Air Flow monitoring system.

AHU/HVAC / Chiller plant/ Central AC, Plant operation & maintenance.

Cooling Tower operation & maintenance

Water Softening Plant operation & maintenance.

Humidification plant & Waste collection System.

Fire Hydrant System & Fire tender.

Bale press system.

Yarn condition plant.

DG set Kirloskar 125 Kva.

Steam Generating Solar System.

Sewage Treatment Plant (STP).

Water Supply System & Compressed Air Network etc.

All types of ms structure fabrication & repairing work from workshop

All types of MHE equipments (Forklift, electric stacker, hand pallets).

Reverse osmosis plant capacity 5 KLD (R.O.plant).

All types of pumps, blower & Gear boxes.

Energy Saving Project-

1) Air system Control, Optimization of Humidification Plant Air Volume with the Help of Fan Blade Angle Adjustment,

2) Optimizing Radial fan with the help of Pulley sizing, 3) Demand driven water supply pump operation optimization with pressure transmitters & VFD arrangement.

4) Cooling tower fan operation optimization with Temperature & VFD etc. 5) Bale press motor load control by VFD arrangement. 6) Optimizing pump power consumption

These responsibilities include with daily work planning; Manpower planning, Making Daily progress report, Calculating Lost hours, Maintaining Tool History cards, Maintaining discipline & 5-S at the shop floor, analyzing all the reports & taking Corrective & Preventive measures.

Site Maintenance Management

• Responsible for Air vessels Hydraulic & NDT Testing, Ambient Air Quality monitoring, Water Parameter testing etc

• Preparation of environmental statement for MP-PCB compliances

• To ensure line equipment is operational in its desired efficiency and productivity.

• To ensure all machines are operating to their maximum reliability level.

Maintenance planning.

• To develop a Preventive maintenance system for the plant

• To develop weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly job plan

• To co ordinate with Line and support engineers for execution of PM jobs as per plan

• To record adherence of PM job and take corrective action

• To develop a predictive maintenance plan for the plant

• Develop vendor and coordinate for carrying out predictive maintenance.

• Get feedback of B/ds and develop MTBF and MTTR to modify the PM schedule yearly

Overall Spare Management

• Responsible for indenting of technical goods as well as non technical goods, Inventory Management etc & verifying the material quality as per standard.

• To identify list of spares and implement proper spares.

• Complete spare part management & inventory control for all line equipments.

Maintenance Improvement –

• Analysis of OEE (original equipment efficiency).

• To co ordinate with Line and support engineers for carrying out RCA (repairing cost analysis) for any repetitive problems(>3 time) and ant B/D >6 hours

• To develop action plan from RCAs and co ordinate execution.

Cost Control

• Preparing Annual Budget, Monthly Expenses report with the reference of budgeted.

• Preparing Quarterly, Half yearly & Annual Review through the Planned & Actual work & Expenses.

• Preparing report for the development of each project on a monthly basis.

• Drive a cost effective program management to reduce reoccurring cost on repair/ -replacement of machinery equipments.

• Vendor development

People development

• Drive training program for people development.

• Drive capability program for large site ensuring skill availability on critical machines.

• Develop matrix to drive team mates for future roles.

• Ensure smooth working of the department and maintain high Morale of the Workforce

• Provide on Job guidance to sub-ordinates to enhance skills and knowledge.

• Monitor and review performance of sub-ordinates.

TPM & Q.C, EHS support

• To ensure that all shutdown jobs are carried out through valid permit system.

• To provide the training about implementation for “5s” TPM, & SAFETY.

• Concentrate on standard PPEs only used by the workmen at site. Looking after hydrant system according to TAC norms, monitoring the Fire tender.

• Implementation of TPM Pillar’s & 5-S on Shop Floor.

Operational Responsibilities

• Monitoring of documentation related to various ISO System

• Monitoring daily data entry in SAP/NOW in Plant Maintenance Module.

• Keeping and timely analysis of preventive maintenance & breakdown maintenance data.

• Legal requirements related to fired /pressure vessels and other installations

• Customer requirements and guidelines

• Engineering Vendor development and liaison

• Updating equipment specifications in SAP/NOW related to concern plant.

• Implement energy saving program in the organization.

• Perform analysis of data and implement action plan evaluated from cause analysis.
