Major Responsibilities
Actively involved in preparing and implementing Site Safety Plan for monitoring the environment health safety issues related to construction activities.
Provide EHS induction training to all new hires and promulgate safety awareness programs.
Offering valuable recommendations to the Management for the provision and use of appropriate personal protective equipments
Deftly identify the hazards at the site before commissioning of the project and accordingly advise for precautionary measures.
Preparing Risk assessments and JSA for construction activities.
Carry out regular surveys and ensuring the safe work methods, with the safety and health requirement observance.
Investigate the cause of accidents, near misses, incident and recommending for the appropriate preventive measures.
Preparation of all relevant Safety documents, Checklist, permit to work.
Conducting weekly/monthly Safety meeting with sub-contractors safety department.
Conducting and attending OHS Walk around on weekly basis.
Conducting Environment, Health & Safety audits.
Submit a weekly & monthly EHS performance report to the clients.
Maintain project relevant safety records and ensure all EHS related issues are communicated to the work force through daily and weekly tool box talk.
Pivotal in implementing management safety polices and achieving Zero Accident.
Ensure permit to work system being implemented and verify licenses of all crane operators’ riggers and drivers and ensure compliance to the set requirements.
Ensure all construction equipments and loose lifting gears are inspected and certified by the third party and color codes before they put in to use.
