EXPERIENCE

June 2019- January 2020 - Pilgrim’s – Arcadia, WI - Management Internship

JBS Pilgrim’s is the largest chicken distributor in the United States and is a global company founded in Brazil. My main tasks as an intern have been working on a project dealing with retention of our employees and our high turnover rate with our production team. The project topic was given to me and everything else I did on my own. I conducted 20 one on one meetings with our complex leadership and a few corporate leaders to nail down some of the main issues. I then conducted a complex wide survey for 450 employees and ran statistics on all the answers to highlight some of the largest issues. Some of my other tasks include: Conducting interviews, budgeting for my Accounting manager, running our retention focus group meetings with team members, solve issues for superintendents and supervisors, plan events for the entire complex and many other business-related tasks.

May 2016 – Current - Abramson Developments- Winona, Mn - Independent Contract work

I have done many different contract jobs during my time at Abramson Developments. To list a few, I have done a lot of roofing jobs, flooring, door framing, tiling, drywalling, I do whatever needs to be done on a specific day. My boss was very lenient and would let me work when I could in between my classes every week.

May 2018 – July 2018 – Internship - Fastenal Company – Winona, Mn

As an intern, I started out in the warehouse familiarizing myself with Fastenal's products and what they sold on a regular basis. After that, we were given the opportunity to choose any two departments inside Fastenal's business from sports marketing to finance to do a 4-6-week rotation and learn about what area they deal with in business and how they conduct their business through excellent customer service.

May 2016 – Aug 2016 - Machine Operator - Dahl-Tech – Stillwater, MN

At Dahl Tech I did various jobs, but for most of the day I would watch over machines and make sure they are running correctly. As a first shift worker, we always had to start the day planning out who was going to be on what machine. The goal was always to be the most efficient, so we got assigned to whatever machine the floor manager thought we were most capable of running. Most of the time if we had any first shift workers out with an illness, I would be one of the workers that would keep an eye on two machines at once because I was good at what I did.

May 2012- Aug 2016 – Manager - Dairy Queen

In high school, I worked as a manager creating work schedules and taking care of customer service whenever there was an issue. Working as a manager at such an early age I have learned to deal with customer problems very well and understanding that the customer comes first. I have dealt with large problems because my boss was never really around to come to check up on us I had to perform a lot of important tasks and making decisions on materials and products we needed to restock on specific days. In addition, I always would fill out order forms for truck deliveries for our inventory.
