ON TIP CLEARANCE FLOW IN LP TURBINE NOZZLE
CASCADE”
My research examined the effect of Tip Clearance and Incidence angle on flow filed in low pressure turbine nozzle vanes linear cascade.I have perform numerical study using Ansys CfX solver and design and mod- ification in linear cascade were done in solid-works. I was motivated to conduct this post graduation research due to my passion for turbo- machinery and I believe I have laid the foundation for further experi- mental validation and development of practical outcomes. In order to bring flow alignment with passage flow, nozzle vanes are re- quired to realign main flow with required passage flow, with penalty associated with the end clearance.Interaction of the passage flow with Tip Leakage Flowwithvariousincidenceangleswithtipgapsizeandits effect on flow field will be discussed in detail.

Manufactured the less complicated, cheaper and more efficient nozzle attachments for subsonic wind tunnel.Fabricated nozzle attachment for the existing low speed subsonic wind tunnel.
