MY STORY
Growing up, I breathlessly consumed a great variety of films ranging from Hitchcock thrillers to Pixar classics. Most of my allowance was spent at movie theaters and almost all of what I borrowed at the local library were teetering stacks of DVDs. But working in the creative industry never crossed my mind until the day my life changed, freshman year of college, when my roommate introduced me to NBC’s The Office. As a work that seamlessly weaves comedy and drama together, evoking as many laughs as it does tears, and as a force that culturally influenced a generation, the show is not only my favorite of all time, but also my inspiration for pursuing a career of telling stories. I am on the hunt for learning experiences: opportunities to investigate deep within the industry the process that invents art, in the hopes that I may one day be enlisted to exploit my creative spirit.
