Title : TEXTURE, MINERALOGY, AND MAJOR ELEMENT GEOCHEMISTRY OF RED (TERI) SEDIMENTS OF ADAPPUVILAI AND KUDIRAIMOZHI AREAS OF TUTICORIN DISTRICT, TAMILNADU, INDIA

Main objective of my research:

To study the geostatistical character of teri sand for knowing texture of the sediments.

To know the mineralogy of both consolidated and unconsolidated teri sand under microscope.

To know the exact mineralogy of teri soil though x-rays diffraction analysis.

To know the major element geochemistry of teri sediment by XRF.

To know the provenance depositional environment and palaeogeochemical implications of teri sand deposits of the study area.
