PERSONAL PROFILE:

I am a graduate with a bachelors of Science degree in Computational Science

(Mathematics) from Uganda Christian University Mukono with four years of professional working experience. I currently work with BRAC Uganda Bank Ltd as an Accounting officer and was previously employed at KPMH Proprietary trading Ltd for a year and a half as a daytrader and before that, at Crested Capital for two years as a Trade support and operations Analyst plus 6 months as an intern. As an accounting officer my roles revolve around banking operations, managing cash that is receiving, disbursing and balancing both at the Till and back office, Customer service and a times marketing when called on by the supervisor. As a daytrader my job was to trade the chosen stocks, currencies and CFDs for the day based on my trading plan. I also carried out research

(technical and fundamental) in the various financial instruments that were in my trading plan. As a trade support and operations analyst, my job responsibilities cut across mainly business operations, trading, Customer care, investment banking and research and publications. The investment banking, research and publication involved publishing daily, weekly, monthly and annual reports in the equities and fixed incomes markets, company valuations, valuation of government securities and generally financial due diligence. I also acquired some experience in making presentations or pitching to various potential clients having travelled to the northern and eastern regions (Arua across to Mbale) of Uganda promoting financial literacy. In addition, together with my colleagues at Crested Capital marketed the first real estate investment trust called the stanlib Fahari Reit in Kenya and facilitated the marketing and selling of Crystal Telecom IPO (Rwanda) in Uganda. I also have experience as a systems and data analyst which roles I carried out during my internship at the Uganda Human Rights commission. With data analysis and database management, I’m proficient in using software like MYSQL, R and especially EXCEL, Access, Power point.
