Performed layout design of Precision Mechanical components, mechanisms and assemblies of Rover and Satellite primary and secondary structures. Created 3D models, Details, Large complex Assemblies, and Interface Control drawings (ICD), including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5-2009 for Space Flight Hardware and Ground Support Equipment (MGSE) using NX11 and Team center V10 release process. Coordinated the design concepts and communicated well with all the relevant disciplines to optimize design and meet program requirements and specifications.

Designed primary and secondary structures such as Former, Fingerplate, Stiffeners, Skin, Clips for FWD pylon fairing, Frame and Door Latch mechanism. Created 3D models, Details and large Assemblies by using CATIA V5 and Model Based Definition (MBD) including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and released the packages through Team center V9 release process.

F-35 (JOINT STRIKE FIGHTER) CV, CTOL, and STOVL Programs – Senior Structural Design Engineer (Level 4)

Performed layout design of primary and secondary structures for Center Bay Fuselage structure and Low Observable Coating and structural modification for Lift Fan Bay’s Aux Air Inlet Doors, In-Flight Refueling Receptacle support structures and Pilot Training System. Created 3D models, details, and large complex assemblies by using CATIA V5, including GD&T. Released the packages using PDM and Reduced Dimensional Drawing (RDD). Prepared design review presentations in support of design and development activities for Chief Engineer and Design Review Board. Performed root cause analysis and provided technical solutions to complex problems and dispositions for design non-conformance and request for change information. Performed research and development of primary and secondary structural of External Aircraft Antenna to accommodate internet connectivity of Boeing 747, 767, 757, and 777 such as Frames, Longerons, Intercostals, brackets by using CATIA V4 and PDM. Coordinated design concepts with external and internal relevant disciplines to optimize design.

PASSENGER TO FREIGHTER – Designed primary and secondary structural modifications on Fuselage such as Frames, Longerons, Intercostals, Floor beams, Floor panels, and Support structures, skins and Window plugs for Rigid Cargo Barrier, Cargo Door, Smoke Detection in cargo, and Center Wing Box Reinforcement such as Front and Rear Spars, Center Shear Web and Bulkheads. Created PDR, CDR presentations, Detail, Installation, and Assembly drawings by using UGII and released through IMAN.

Achieved new type of composite floor panel specification with nonmetallic inserts for MD-11, DC-10, MD-10. Coordinated with M&P, suppliers, and FAA for new material approval, and released the related detail and assembly drawings.

DC-8 MODIFICATION for French Air Force – Performed design modification of Airframe Primary Structures and components to provide a window opening in fuselage for installation of external reconnaissance camera.

PASSENGER TO KC10 TANKER for Dutch Air Force – Interior Payload System Design Engineer

Performed design modification of Remote Area Refueling Operation (RARO), Stowage, Galleys and Crew Bunks, Created Detail, Installation, and Interface Coordination Drawing (ICD), by using CADD and released drawings. Coordinated design with external and internal customers to ensure an efficient design.
