TEACHING EXPERIENCE

As of now I have about 30 hours of teaching for friends through Zoom or In person at the beach. Vinyasa Flow : I have been teaching vinyasa for the most part. I created level 1 / 2 vinyasa flow as well as level 2 / 3. I created my classes around an intention or based on specific requests. I am working with a friend on learning handstands. I keep having requests for tight hips and back pain, the main problems caused by desk jobs. Pranayama : Every class I teach starters with 10 minutes of breath work to create the space. I always start with belly and chest breathing, then I combine them into fully yogic breath. I usually continue with either kapalabhati, anuloma viloma or simple breath retentions at the top of the inhale depending on the intention of the class. Meditation : I have been teaching two types of meditations. The first type is based on breath awareness. I usually guide the student to keep the focus on the heart and on the intention to let go to find stillness. The second type is based on the chakras (color and affirmation or sound) and allows the student to focus on the different energy centers from the bottom of the spine to the crown of the head.

Restorative Yoga/ Slow Movement: I have been teaching restorative yoga classes based on slow movement to unwind after a long day, lubricate the joints and stretch. These classes are gentle on the body and allow the student to reconnect with their body and to slow down the breath. These classes are great in the morning to start the day or at the end of the day to relax. CERTIFICATIONS, COMPUTER SKILLS & ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
