Skills

I am able to provide the proper amount of care to patients due to my work ethic. I am a hardworking and determined person when it comes to tasks that need to be completed in order to help benefit others, and will perform the tasks to my absolute potential. I have had experience with being a caretaker for both my Mother, who had chronic illness, and Grandmother, who had Alzheimer’s, for as long as I can remember. I also took CNA courses, but due to Covid-19 I was unable to complete the credit hours. In addition to my CNA training, I also am CPR certified as of July 25th 2020! Experience

January 2020- March 2020

New Kent Christian Academy, Quinton VA- Assistant Teacher

● My duties were to feed, change, clean and teach the kids knowledge needed to proceed to the 4 year olds. I also worked with other agents groups starting at 1 year old to elementary school.

● I worked full time

● I left the job so soon due to the fact that 1. There was no teamwork when it came to getting things done, and I ended up doing more than the other coworkers and 2. the children were getting sick and they passed it to me. I was sick for three weeks and decided that my health was more important because I was also taking care of my Grandmother and did not want to run the risk of passing the sickness to her since she had no way of communicating her issues with others.

December 2018- January 2020

Walnut Ridge Farm, Quinton VA- Caregiver

● I bathed, fed, changed, dressed, and assisted my Grandmother with walking in her late stages of Alzhiemers after my Mother passed away in 2018..

● I also assisted my Mother before she passed away with her daily lifestyle activities. I did not do as much for her as I did for my Grandmother because she was diagnosed with chronic illness and pain, so I did as much as I could do if she needed me to.

● Home experience:

● During the 18 years that I aided in taking care of my Grandmother I learned to feed her, change the diapers and bathe her while she was bed ridden.

● I am also qualified in PCR and have performed it on my mother when she had reactions to prescribed medications.

2

February 2020- April 2020

VEGA, Providence Forge VA- Gymnastics Coach

● I was let off because of Covid-19

● I was in training, but I worked there when I was younger as a TNT (basically a volunteer coach). I cleaned, provided care if needed, made sure the students had proper hand hygiene, and kept them out of harm's way when it came to tumbling.

● I worked part time for training, and was going to end up working full time this summer. Education
