1. In-plant training at CHENNAI PETROLEUM CORPORATION LIMITED (2018)

• Acquired knowledge about basic oil refinery process and functions

• Got an opportunity to see instruments in field

2. Mini Project done on Smart stick using Arduino Board (2018)

• This gadget is made for helping visually impaired to walk easily.

• It is mounted with ultrasonic sensors to detect obstacles on their way to notify them for personal safety.

• It is also designed to detect the wet floor.

3. Internship at TechnipFMC (2019)

• TechnipFMC is an Oil and Gas Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) Contractor Multi-national company

• Got an idea about basic work process of EPC companies.

• Acquired knowledge about the role of an instrumentation engineer in an EPC company.

• Learned about PID, PFD, one line loop and Hoop-up diagrams.

• Internship gave me the exposure of working in a typical professional environment. 4. Academic Projects at CPCL (2020)

• I started my work on analyzing the control scheme on instrument air plant at CPCL. We have incorporated the control scheme to improve safety and efficiency.

• These proposed designs were simulated through PLC using ladder logic.

• The developed logic has been checked for various operating conditions and the proposed design shows improved performance.

EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

• Participated in a state level project expo on “Smart stick using Arduino” organized by Vel Tech Muti Tech, Chennai.
