JOB PROFILE

Handling production planning, Scheduling & MRPT activities for an individual plant with more than 100 customers & more than 1000 SKU’s.

Receive & Analyze Monthly forecast/ Weekly firm orders demand to determine production.

Planning of Materials based on customer demand, inventory and Production plan.

Once Received the Sales order from customer, review & update in system to send the order acknowledgement to customer

Reviewing the MRP output messages for RM & PM, issue the Purchase request (PR)/ Ordering Request (OR) to Purchase department

Ensure that materials are available On-time to meet the daily scheduled production requirements.

Generate and analyze critical part list from Shortage Report and liaison with Buyer on daily basis for Production plan.

Orders has been scheduled based on the customer requirement & components availability. Deriving Monthly production plan & 6WK Rolling Plans.

Identify root cause of shortage part and monitor implementation of related corrective action plans.

Interacting with all departments in order to schedule the materials (CTP/PDD) to meet production demand.

Analyze data to determine opportunities to decrease inventory, improve customer service levels and reduce total costs

Material Scrap Management – Escalate the excess material caused by ECN to PA team and get approval for Re-use/Scrap.

Excess & obsolete stock analysis in plant to make use of it to the global plant.

Initiating the work orders for internal jobs to launching the products for production against the weekly plan

Materials co-ordination with purchase, logistics & warehouse team to maintain the products in pipeline.

Understanding the crisis & rescheduling the production plan based on the urgent requirements from customers.

Daily and Weekly Meeting with Production, IE, Quality and Equipment Team on the Improvement of Yield Rate, Cycle Time and Scrap Reduction

An active member in the monthly DRP (Distribution Resource Planning) system for updating latest GC forecast & analyzing the stock positions.
