Vendor inspection Responsibilities:-

Vendor inspection for boiler steel structures and air ducting

Receipt inspection of materials, plates, pipes, tubes fitting: Physical inspection and review of material test certificates (MTCs) w.r.t PO/QAP

Material identification of pressure parts materials: plates, pipe, tubes, and fittings: Physical inspection and review of material test certificates (MTCs) w.r.t PO/QAP

In process inspection: Dimension, Orientation, Layout Check, set-ups inspection before NDE, component inspection and Painting inspection.

Visual Inspection, Mock-up, Functional, Other Specific tests as per PO/QAP

Final inspection of components / equipment’s, before PWHT/Hydro, Inspection before dispatch.

Make NCR of inspection.

Witness of hydro and pneumatic test.

Co-ordination with TPI/Client.

Prepare and Review of final documents like IR/MICN.

Workshop Fabrication/ Site Responsibilities:-

Preparation and verifying of ITP, WPS and PQR as per standard codes & practices.

Conduct and witness of Welder Qualification Test (WQT) as per ASME Sec IX.

Incoming Material Inspection according To MTC with Client at Fabrication Yard/Shop.

Surveillance inspection during welding(Before, during & after Welding) includes welding parameter, inter-pass temperature, weaving of electrode, backing and holding ovens control of electrode/filler wire according to WPS and Procedure.

Ensure the heat treatment process of pressure parts before (Preheating) and after (PWHT) welding process for required materials as per ASME B31.1, ASME B31.3 and ASME Sec IX..

Witnessing NDT operations such as Radiographic (RT), Ultrasonic test (UT), (DPT) Dye penetrate test,(MPI) Magnetic partial inspection, Hardness Testing, (PMI) Positive Material Identification according to ASME SEC VIII, ASME SEC I, ASME SEC V acceptance criteria and approved procedures.

Preparation of IBR Documentation for Site Erection activities, Approval & Ground Inspection of Boiler Pressure Parts, Piping, Valves, Site Welding Joints and Its NDT Records.

Framing and implementing quality plan, inspection test plan & inspection record formats and do periodic audit to ensure.

Undertake checks on production of Boiler Steel Structural works, Boiler Pressure parts, piping & Equipment’s to ensure the procedures are being followed in order to ensure that quality standard being achieved.

Make Field observation report, Weekly repair/rework percentage and NCR.

Inspecting line walk through in accordance with approved GA, P&ID & Isometric drawing for mechanical clearance for pressure test.

Ensure all the quality documentation is correctly maintained in accordance with IBR and other standards in order to ensure compliance to meet the requirements.

Conducting Pressure Test (Hydro Test & Pneumatic test) as per ASME B31.1, ASME B31.3 and ASME section V.

Handled Materials: -

CARBON STEEL (SA210, SA106 Gr A, B, and C) and NACE, ALLOY STEEL (SA 335 P91, SA335 P22, and SA335 P11 & SA335 P12), and STAINLESS SLEEL (SA312 TP 304, SA312 TP316 & SA312 TP 347).
