EXPERIENCE SUMMARY :-

1.Worked as Design Associate (Layam Contract) at Ashok Leyland Technical Centre, VVC, Chennai, joined on November 2015. Expertise in Bus Body Parts, Interior,Exterior Trims Design and also in bus body Integration with Chassis.

2.Currently working as Engineer in Renault Nissan, RNTBCI (Feb 2018-present). Working for Jig design for car body Assembly line.

DESIGN SKILLS :-

Software skills :-

CATIA-V5 (4yrs EXP)-good knowledge in Surface modeling, Part modeling, Assembly, Clash check and Drafting.

Technical skills: good knowledge in material Choosing, Component strength & stiffening, 2D & 3D mechanisms, and expertise in bus interior & exterior trim parts. Car body parts assembly knowledge and car body jig design & analysis for various Assembly process.

PLM Software : Enovia to Leap Releases, EDM and BOM Editing.

Projects :

Experience in 15M Coach Bus program to develop Interior and Exterior Trim part Designs.

Solved many field Issues from customer end and Solved errors from proto built Inspections.

Knowledge in design of Dashboard assembly, Insulations, Interior and exterior panels, and roof panels.

Designed some parts like Podest, Bonnet, floor service hatches, Grill Assembly, side pillar Trims..etc

Input for Supplier Parts, Inspecting the Received parts, Critical portion dimensions checking and also mounting and design recommendation to Supplier.

Good Knowledge in Bus Body Integration, Vehicle & chassis parts Clash & Integration checking and vehicle parts mounting Study.

Currently working in New car body jigs for Bumper and sealer application
