PROJECT SUMMARY:

Had done Master of Technology project work on “DEVELOPMENT OF COMPOSITE PHASE CHANGE MATERIAL WITH SILICON CARBIDE NANO POWDER AND GRAPHENE NANO SHEETS AS ADDITIVES FOR THERMAL ENERGY STORAGE APPLICATIONS.”

Phase Change Materials can be integrated into Solar Energy storage technologies.

The base material used was POLYETHYLENE GLYCOL which has good enthalpy for thermal energy storage.

The main aim of this project is to enhance THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY of base material by adding highly thermally conductive additives i.e Silicon carbide Nano powder and Graphene Nano sheets for better thermal energy transfer properties, which in turn used for various applications.
