● Connected postgres database through a rails api selectively employing polymorphic relations to craft an intuitive flow of data between the user’s cart and their orders, and to streamline the process of adding new features to the app.

● Implemented a unidirectional Redux dataflow to preserve authenticated user data across refreshes and logins, as well as allowing for a streamlined and inviting e-commerce experience

● Incorporated React to build a single page app, built around mobile-first design principles, bypassing the bottleneck associated with navigation between backend routes

● Applied AWS S3 and Rails ActiveStorage to associate externally hosted images and audio files with relational tables and allow for additional user created content
