Using the existing Database reactivated sales with several key accounts such as New Balance in Boston and the Center for Disease Control in Atlanta—sparking over $10,000 in new opportunities. Consistently assessed customer needs, from upgrades from a wired to a wireless headset to finding unique products to fit the needs of customers, such as conference phones that work on digital lines, saving the customer the money and hassle of an analog line.

Promoted the service side of Ahern Communications, hand delivering product, installing product. Assessed call center and small office settings headset and conference phone needs through site visits—dealing with the immediate end user, purchasing agent and managers, an example drove to Perkin Elmer’s Customer Care Center for the cutover of the new VOIP phone system. Responsible from initial contact through close of sale for key new accounts, such as BrownRudnick and EFEducational Tours. Aggressively set pricing, determined terms and determined product need.Consistently visited and recruited new customers expanding the existing customer base by as much as 35% in the second quarter.

February 2004- December 2007— CSR/Internet Sales, Ahern Communications Maintained customer satisfaction handling inquires ranging from need assessment to tracking delivery of product. Promoted customer awareness of new and discontinued product. Streamlined internet order process eliminating time consuming manual steps—becoming far more efficient for both Ahern and the customer. While primarily responsible for the internet orders, maintained several key accounts such as Consumer Value Stores (CVS) and Baltimore Gas & Electric, handling various telecommunication needs. Promoted an email marketing blitz for the holiday season for customers that purchased Music on Hold products with a special Ahern holiday CD.

October 1998-February 2004---Editorial Assistant, Adams Papers, Massachusetts Historical Society Transcribed letters and diaries from the Adams Family Trust, including diary entries from lesser known Adamses. Attended yearly seminars to promote Documentary Editing-- learning new techniques and explaining how things were done at the Adams Papers.
