WORK EXPERIENCE

Payroll Supervisor/Manager

STEP Energy Services (USA) LTD - Spring, TX January 2019 to October 2019

•Managed the process ADP WFN and Kronos WFR Payroll Systems (Salary, Non-Exempt) bi-weekly, semi-monthly and employees, Multi-State, Multi-Localities, in-pats, multiple types of compensation for approximately 700 employees.

•Was brought on to build payroll department from ground zero. Built a Payroll Department Team, created internal controls, processes and procedures, started processing the Kronos WFR Payroll and brought the ADP WFN Payroll from Canada to the US with a new team.

•Handled the complete process for Quarter-End processing and Year-End processing; was responsible for all of STEPs Multi-State & Multi-Locations - Balancing payroll's being processed thru ADP WFN and Kronos WFR, created returns and amendments as needed, applying for & setting up

new jurisdictions as STEP went into new states.

•Ensured current Compliance, Account Reconciliations; Managed and supervise three full-time employees and four contractors.

•Reconciled Payroll, Payroll Taxes and Reporting - Company Compliance.

•Performed Audits, Responded to internal and external audit requests.

Consultant, HCM Implementation SME Manager

Talance Group, Inc - Houston, TX November 2017 to May 2018

•Temporary Assignment to get company through overwhelming period.

•Built conversion tables for transition from UltiPro to Oracle Cloud for tables in Taleo.

•SME and Active Member of Oracle Cloud HCM/Payroll/OTL/OAB/AM/ORW Implementation Team for approx. 1650 employees for a Real Estate / Construction / Leasing Company.

Worked closely with all team members of each department within HR to develop more than a 100 test cases / scenarios for each module and mapped cases to one another when they crossed to the difference modules (i.e. A new hire would crossed Taleo, onboarding, Core, OTL, AM and Payroll). Some of the simple basic scenarios where used to test in the beginning when staff was just getting familiar with Oracle and as the system was developed and built, the conference room pilot tests where the more realistic tests that fit their everyday scenarios and where used to try and "TEST (break)" the system to see if it was setup correctly and/or what needed to be tweaked.

Newpark Resources, Inc - The Woodlands, TX November 2015 to May 2017

•Managed the process Oracle In House Payroll System (Salary, Non-Exempt) bi-weekly, semi-monthly & monthly payrolls, onshore and offshore employees, Multi State, Multi Localities, small expat payroll. Multiple types of compensation for approximately 1400 employees.

•Successful system conversions and enhancements on Oracle system. Patch testing and Vertex updates testing, as well as any minor system changes, new elements, etc. with testing of them.

•Successful Oracle System upgrade from 11r to Oracle 12i.

•Handled the complete process for Quarter End processing and Year End processing. Responsible for all of Newpark's Multi-State & Multi-Locality Taxes - Balancing, Reconciling Taxes being processed with Ceridian, Creating returns and amendments as needed, applied for new jurisdictions as needed.
