926 FSS (NELLIS AFB, NV) 2014 to 2019

Human Resources Manager

Senior advisor to the Wing, Group, and Squadron Commanders, providing guidance on controlling civilian and ART manpower allocation, workforce structure, and all actions for manpower and personnel for the serviced organizations of the 926th Wing in accordance with afman 36-203 staffing civilian positions, afman 36-606 civilian career field management and development, the ART Guide for Human Resource Specialists, DOL, FLSA, EEOC, ADA, FMLA, LOA, USERRA and the PPP Handbook.

Rendered all recruitment and placement services to the various organizations which comprised of the 926th Wing (over 2,300 positions) utilizing a variety of software programs such as Defense Civilian Personnel Data System (DCPDS), Office of Personnel Management (OPM), Personnel Automated Records Information System (PARIS), Business Objects (B.O.), MYpers, Oracle, Ultipro, ADP, Paychex and AFPC secure along with multiple HQ AFRC SharePoint sites.

Received and reviewed requests for petitions from labor organizations and efficiently process a variety of requests for personnel actions to fill positions and/or to career promote, reassign, of employees. Ensured personnel actions were appropriately input into automated programs. Provided accurate and timely advisory services concerning program policies and procedures.

Created organizational structure and workforce staffing studies for management to address personnel issues such as upgrade packages reviewing or reorganization.

Organizational expert source of information on the established procedures and guidelines for processing transactions involving manpower, personnel, and overall resource usage.
