PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY
With over eleven years of design experience, I have conceptualized numerous pages of publication
including webpages wherein original designs is a must and in a competetive field, quality is always aimed for. Layouting, primarily, is the main duty of a design editor much as coordinating with editorial regarding actual execution of design and acting as go between prepress department as per their specifics required for offset printing as equally important, thus, ensuring an efficient, streamlined workflow.
Using different software at my disposal, I am constantly advancing myself by researching new applications for existing softwares and at the same time, learning new ones as I am open to changes. I have experimented using flash animation gifs for the Gulf News webpage.
Illustrations are catered specifically for every story that editorial requires, so, I have enhanced my skill in illustrating different subject matters while developing my own specific style.
Arts and craft are my main interest, from sculpting to costume production including concept design. Given the chance, I prefer to enhance this further by going to character development and research.
Winning several ComiCon costume competitions and
being interviewed by CNN I consider as achievements in the past 11 years of my career. I would like to pursue further in such fields of interest where I can contribute in a team environment.
